“Enrichment Beyond The Classroom”
Miami City Mission Youth Center is a nonprofit agency that was founded to provide a shelter from the street for boys and girls by the late Reverend John & Enid Smellie in 1999 and open its door in 2000. The center was started as a teen outreach program to provide a positive atmosphere for kids to learn, play and grow.

Miami City Mission Youth Center is committed to developing productive citizens in our community through education, recreation, mentoring and spiritual enrichment.

The after school program is the foundation for all of our other programs. Children from K-12th grade enjoy the safe haven that is affectionately known as the Gym.

A nonprofit fitness center in Miami is trying to change the health of our city.

The center is able to fulfill its vision, “Transforming families one child at a time”
